Holidays 2015 - Part 1 - Florida Trip

This year we did another "sea and ski" Christmas vacation by first spending a week in Florida, then coming home for Christmas and spending another five days in Steamboat.

Spending time with Grandma Gil in Maderia Beach...

A brief visit to Tarpon Springs, Florida - a short 30 minutes north of Clearwater and known as the sponge capital of the world, famous for sponge diving and the highest percentage of Greek Americans than any other community in the United States.

Visiting the Homasassa Springs Wildlife State Park another 45 minutes north on US19 and home to the iconic Florida Manatee and other native species.

Lu is a 50 year old Hippo who starred in TV shows back in the 1960s.

Spending time on Clearwater Beach and celebrating an early Christmas dinner with the Kellys.
